Dear Fantastic Creator,

Hello! I want you to know that I completely adore you for participating in this exchange and I'm likely to be thrilled with anything and everything you come up with for me. <3 <3 I'm especially appreciative your patience while I was running so behind getting my letter all finished up. I signed up for both Tricks and Treats for this exchange, and I am genuinely excited at the prospect of receiving either. My little fandom specific areas down below don't have a lot (or anything in some cases) for the Trick aspect. I was excited for The Boys from the first time I got even the slightest hint about it, and the moment it released I settled down for a marathon. It exceeded all of my wildest expectations and I'm now chomping at the bit for season two. Butcher is, of course, my favorite. I blame Karl Urban. The character is such an unbelievable ass, but he's also got this magnetism. Even knowing how fucked up he is, Frenchie and MM go right back to working with him with barely any hesitation. He bends people around him to get what he wants, and it's completely fascinating to watch. I'd love to see some fic of what Butcher was like before his wife disappeared, but I'd also be equally happy to read some introspective bits into his dearly fucked up psyche.

Alternatively, I also adore all the other listed characters. Frenchie and Kimiko are completely precious. Hughie and Annie have an awkwardness that makes me giggle. And even when it's all sweet and adorable I love that there's this overarching film of how incredibly fucked up their world is.

Ready or Not (2019)

As of the time of writing this I have now seen this movie twice in theaters, and I love it more with every watch. Grace is such a relatable character, and you can see from the start how much that 1980s game of Hide and Seek traumatized Daniel to the core. I like the idea of pondering different ways things could have gone. There are some fics out there that explore the idea that Daniel survived or was resurrected by Le Bail, and I'm very here for that. On the other side of the coin, there's also the "what if" style of fic where there actually wasn't any curse and the family was just nuts. I'm pretty much here for any of it, so feel free to go nuts! :)

American Gods (TV)

I'm here for the smut/kink and/or the horror/creep, lol. Even when sex isn't the major theme of what's going on the entire show is pulsing with that kind of energy, so smut of any variety just feels especially fitting. In exchanges and fests I tend to note that I like fluff and happy endings, but with American Gods every last bit of that goes out the window. It's more understated than my love of fluff and humor (at least online), but I'm a fan of porn and horror, and this fandom slides right into that mentality in ways that many others don't. I am not the least bit twitchy about dub-con or non-con here either. So long as everyone's a legal adult and it isn't A/B/O I'm pretty much golden.

Sweeney/Laura is my OTP of the fandom. I love their energy, their reluctance to admit how they feel about one another, and the potential for just super dirty sexings. I'd love to see them get a less depressing ending than the painful nightmare I'm sure the show's going to give us, so a not-miserable-for-the-moment ending is preferred. I'm not squicky about violence or this particular version of necrophilia (does it count since she's the undead and not a prone corpse?) if you're working with a still decaying Laura. So long as we don't have my DNWs, get graphic. I'll probably love it. I don't hate the Laura is Essie trope, but I like seeing things that don't take that route any farther than the physical resemblance. The only thing I really don't want with these two is flat out angst. They're both usually in shitty moods, but the thing they're not usually up to is crying about it. Whinging, sure, and bitching aplenty, but sobbing in a corner ain't either of their styles.

If we matched on Sweeney but you can't bear to give my OTP a shot (and I would get it, they're not for everyone) I am up for literally any of his antics. I'd love to know exactly what happened with the mermaids he and Wednesday were talking about or get more detail on any of his wild stories. You could give me a glimpse at a brawl he started out of boredom in just about any time and place and I'd be super enthused. He's my absolute favorite, so more Sweeney is always right up my alley.

If we matched on Laura and you're not down with the OTP, feel free to give me any sort of character stuff for her. Every time I watch scenes of Laura from before her death I'm overwhelmed by how she was clearly (to me, anyway) dealing with some serious depression issues. I'd love to see her during some of her happy moments or even just introspective bits on what was going through her mind. Laura's not necessarily a good person, but I love that she's so unapologetic about it.

As an additional note, I do love worldbuilding in this universe and explanations of how each god and/or mystical figure is affected by belief and worship.

DC's Arrowverse

I have been on the Arrowverse Deathsmoak train ever since way back in season two. To my detriment, really, as once Slade was no longer a big part of the show I lost interest pretty quickly, and I'm not actually current on the goings-on with later seasons. Season three really bogged me down. If you'd like to take it AU after season two or set it back then I am here for it. I'm also here for complete AUs that involve the characters in less dire settings.

Felicity in all her babbling glory is my favorite, but I love absolutely everything about Slade Wilson's portrayal. Manu Bennett was spectacular, and the writing for him in the early seasons was wonderful. I like that he has so much potential to be redeemed, but between the Mirakuru and his own lust for vengeance he just flatly refuses. I like stories that take that redemption potential and run with it. Alternatively, I like fics where he continues to be the amazing criminal mastermind that he is.

Modern AUs for this fandom are my jam. I love seeing the characters in an updated setting doing all kinds of different things. I'm particularly fond of world-building in modern settings, too. Game of Thrones is such a bleak, nihilistic show at times, so in my fic reading adventures I tend to like keeping it lighter and happier. I do love a bit of angst with a happy ending, though.

Sansa is kind of my fandom bicycle. I'll read about her paired with just about anyone, exceptions being Petyr Baelish and Ramsey Bolton. I tend toward Sandor as a love interest because SanSan was my first GoT ship, but I'll honestly give just about anything a shot. I love a strong Sansa rather than a wilting flower. She got a lot of steel strapped to her spine in the last couple of seasons of the show, and I feel like that usually gets ignored in fanfic.

A note about incest in GoT: For me incest is more disturbing when characters are raised in loving family environments than when they're just genetically related. So, I have more problems with Jon/Sansa (bit of a NOTP for me) because they were raised to believe they were siblings than I do Jon/Daenerys because they're aunt and nephew by blood.

Oh, the MCU. If I'm generally easy to please in most of my fandoms, it goes double for the MCU. I'm a fan of Darcy Lewis with just about anyone. I like a confident, sexually liberated Darcy with healthy doses of sarcasm, and I prefer her paired with people that don't tear her down for staying by Jane's side. I'm good with the start of relationships and also established relationships. You can pair her up with anyone your heart desires and I'll be happy to read it. I'm personally of the belief that there's not enough Darcy/Heimdall in the world, and I've only ever found one instance of Darcy/Everett Ross that I can recall.

Not a Darcy fan? Maybe don't like writing ship fic? Not a problem. Give me any fic about any of the characters I've selected and I'll be pleased as punch.
