Hello! I want you to know that I completely adore you for participating in this exchange and I'm likely to be thrilled with anything and everything you come up with for me. <3 <3 I'm especially appreciative your patience while I was running so behind getting my letter all finished up. Hi!!! Thank you for signing up for this exchange, and I'm so sorry that you're stuck with me. :p I love to read, and I'm not hard to please with fanfic, but that also comes with a side of me tending to be vague when I'm making requests. Some pairings I'm much more attached to than others, but I tried to include alternate pairings because I know not everyone shares my OTPs. I like fluff and smut. Giving me glimpses of functional, happy relationships is always a good road to take. I'm also a big fan of the "families of choice" ideology, so if you're not up for ship fic you can always take the gen family fluff route.

Marvel Cinematic Universe
The easiest way to always make me happy in the MCU is to give me fun with Darcy Lewis. I know she's a bit character, but between Kat Dennings and the rapid-fire millennial attitude that she gave us I absolutely adore her. I'm heavily in the "Darcy Lewis, Fandom Bicycle" camp, so you can't really go wrong with whatever pairing you choose to put her in. Actually, I'm fairly certain I've read and enjoyed fic with her paired with every conceivable person in the MCU. Even the guy playing Galaga on the helicarrier in the first Avengers movie. There's a surprising number of fics with that kid.

I have seen Infinity War (multiple times), so you don't have to worry about hitting me with spoilers. However, I'm not looking for the kind of angst that I know Infinity War inspires. I don't need that heavy of a plot or an explanation for how it's all resolved. Give me stuff that happens before that movie or jump way ahead and give me things after it's all put to rights and everyone's happy (ish) again.

Darcy Lewis/Stephen Strange
This right here? This is the OTP. I crave Darcy with Doctor Strange. They both have snark and pop culture references for days. Plus, there's an endless supply of magician/wizard/sorcerer names that Darcy could call him by. I'm big on the idea of Darcy folding him into her seemingly endless group of people she takes care of. Whether that means she's still working with scientists or Avengers or has just switched to interning for Masters of the Mystic Arts is entirely up to you. I like her surprising him because Stephen always thinks he's the smartest guy in the room and Darcy is so used to that schtick that she's not having any of it. Basically anything you give me with these two is going to be gold.

Darcy Lewis/Peter Quill
Peter has a lot of music to catch up on, and I think Darcy is the perfect person to do that catching up. There's so much potential for snark and humor here, and I am all about it.

Darcy Lewis/Thor and Darcy Lewis & Thor
Whether they are the best of bros, aromantic fuckbuddies, or the greatest romance of all time, I love Darcy and Thor. I like the idea of the two of them taking a full on bro spa day where they chill out in fuzzy bathrobes, trade hair grooming tips, and binge watch Black Sails. I like the idea of them having lots of sweaty sex. I like the idea of Thor wanting her to be his lady-love for the remainder of her too-short mortal life. You really can't go wrong with these two together for me no matter what the dynamic is between them.

Peter Parker & Shuri, Peter Parker & Tony Stark
Like about 90% of the internet, I have a desperate need to see Peter Parker and Princess Shuri get together to geek out and make everyone's life a living hell--particularly Tony and T-Challa. Just imagine all the trouble they could get into! The fun they could have! The gray hairs they would cause! Straight humor and crack is the way to go.

The Guardians of the Galaxy
I once read a really great fic that had all of the Guardians in a poly relationship together. The great and important thing was that it wasn't a relationship built on sex. It involved all different kinds of love and affection, and seeing that play out was completely wonderful. I know that's kind of a heavy thing to consider and that not everyone wants to try and sort out that much relationship dynamic. I am just as happy with Peter/Gamora and the antics and interactions of the group as a whole. They are the very definition of a found family, and I love seeing that built upon.

Big Bang Theory
Not gonna lie, this show totally lost me around the time Amy Farrah Fowler became a serious love interest for Sheldon instead of just a friend that agreed to help keep people off his back. Their relationship started in the best kind of way with her being a fantastic character who knew she didn't need a relationship to be fulfilled, and then went down a rabbit hole I'm really not okay with. In the early seasons, the most healthy and stable relationship in the whole thing is honestly Sheldon's relationship with Penny. The Sheldon we got in the pilot is not the caricature we ended up with, and I'm not okay with it. So, yeah. Sheldon/Penny. Love them. Prefer them. Fix it, please. LOL. My favorite Sheldon/Penny fic out there is The Paladin Protocol by SpaceAnJL if you need a little insight into the type of relationship dynamic I'm looking for (I'm also of the opinion that everyone needs to read that fic). Happy, fluffy, and snarky is the way to go. If you aren't here to write BBT fanfic for me, go read that fic anyway. It's fantastic.

Dear Screen Exchange Drabble Creator,

Hi! Thanks for signing up for this great little exchange. I'm so sorry you've been signed up to write for me. :p I'm one of those people that just loves to read in general, so I'm actually not hard to please in exchanges. Unfortunately, that also means that I tend to be pretty vague when it comes to prompts and suggestions. Since these are drabbles I even made an effort to go more short and sweet than usual. The big thing here is that I really want happy stuff. Short fics full of angst just make me sad with no payoff, and I'd rather avoid it for this exchange.

Marvel Cinematic Universe
With Infinity War so close on the horizon, I am all about Marvel right now. I'm not exactly up to date on the television shows that go along with, but I've seen every movie in the MCU at least twice. Most of them I've seen an embarrassingly larger number of times. I may or may not be able to quote Doctor Strange from start to finish. I'm not a huge fan of Tony/Steve and I really don't like Thor/Loki (or any incest ship) or Tony/Peter Parker. Other than that, your options are pretty much fair game. If you really want to get high marks, go for something involving Stephen Strange, Darcy Lewis, or some combination of the two. They're one of my favorite crack pairings, but even separate I adore them both. Snark and pop culture references are my jam.

Oh, and the "Hair Brushing" tag is totally because I read it and briefly envisioned Darcy and Thor trading grooming tips in front of the television while wearing fuzzy bathrobes and having a bro-spa-day. Feel free to run with that. XD

Pacific Rim
So, I walked out of the theater after Pacific Rim: Uprising basically screaming about all the amazing poly possibilities that movie left us open for. Nate & Jake having to deal with Jules just looking at them and going "I'm not picking, both of you drop your pants" is an A+ thing. So are more moments like the kiss on the cheek for each of them followed by a "well, that's confusing" that we got in the movie itself. I just want a happy poly triad doing happy poly triad things. And maybe somebody yelling at Jake for leaving ice cream out on the counter because I'm still freaking out about melted ice cream all over the damn base.

Hi! Welcome to my impulse-decision sign-up for Night on Fic Mountain! I was not following this exchange at all. I just stumbled upon it and signed up out of the blue, so I admit that I haven't put a whole lot of thought into what I want here. Luckily, I'm actually pretty easy to please. I just like reading, and as long as you don't hit on my Do Not Wants we'll be just fine.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword
I am OBSESSED with this movie. I love that it's dark and gritty. I love the humor interspersed throughout. I love the potential for both uplifting fluff and terrifying horror that this world can provide. If you want to write that rapid-fire exchange of humor that is entirely Guy Ritchie's style, I'm here for it. If you want to go down the rabbit hole of the weird, I'm here for it. This is where I'm okay with any of the usual archive warnings. If you've got the urge to write some dark and twisted, I am your reader. I promise you're not going to offend me. I will be thrilled with as explicit and as gruesome as you want to be.

Arthur/Mage
These two are where I expect the most out of that particular brand of humor we got in the movie. Their relationship is great, and I'd love to see it explored. Give me banter in the wilderness or in Camelot. Give me missing scenes between the two of them. Give me the start of a genuine relationship where neither are inclined to take any shit from the other. Give me just more of these two doing their thing. I'm interested in the Mage is Guinevere, but you're going to need to convince me. Give me reasons and not just putting her in that role because it's convenient.

Alternatively, magic can have strange effects on a person, and I like to think that one of those effects is a massive increase in the libido. Surely the Mage can work out an arrangement with the king to get that little issue taken care of.

Arthur/Excalibur
What side effects does the sword have on its bearer? Once it shows you what you need to see, what does it demand in return? Does it continue to invade waking thoughts and dreams? Does it demand anything?

Arthur/Syrens
What other prices might the Syrens accept to grant a king some of their power? Or perhaps to agree not to grant their power to another? We know from the movie that Arthur is willing to think outside the box and look for what he needs in a variety of different places. Scruples or chastity aren't necessarily a concern. Sex pacts are not only on the table but completely encouraged.

Catia/Syrens
So, this is admittedly one of those rare times when my brain saw something and latched onto it for the sheer horror it could bring about. Imagine, if you will, that the loved ones killed and given to the Syrens are brought back as an underwater form of the undead--no longer needing to breathe and able to stay in the depths where they're put. Because sea witches certainly have sexual needs.

Black Panther
Not gonna lie, I'm a little wary of diving head first into Black Panther fic. The movie was perfection. From a writing standpoint, I'm afraid of fucking up. From a reading standpoint? I worry that it won't capture the same wonder that I felt in that theater. Also, there's a lot of social issues to be mindful of. This is the most specific request I have. I'm not looking for romance. I don't even really want a super heavy plot. I want platonic interactions between Shuri, T'Challa, and Bucky as they work to break through his brainwashing. Build up that relationship for me so I can see how we got to the friendly, familiar interaction between Bucky and Shuri in the after credits scene on the movie, and please don't turn any of it into flirting.

Wolverine
Break my heart. Seriously, there ain't much left of a heart for me after seeing Logan anyway, lol. I want the missing scenes from the road trip. Give me Laura bonding with Charles and Logan trying to make sense of it. I want to see Logan and Charles watching Laura sleep and talking about what she could turn out to be. Heartfelt and bittersweet is the name of the game. Maybe somewhere along the way they stumbled on a little county fair and Charles insisted that Laura get to be a child long enough to eat cotton candy and play a game. Maybe they stopped at a diner because they found out she'd never had a milkshake. Perhaps just Laura reminiscing on all those incidents that made those two men so important to her in such a short time. Little things that are made all the more painful by the awareness of what followed. I'm a glutton for punishment on this one.

I'm pretty easy to please, so even if you only follow the bare-bones of Character/Relationship and Additional Tags provided through the AO3 sign-up I promise I'll probably be happy. I do have a couple of squicks and things that I'm just not interested in for this exchange. I made sure to put most of them in the Optional box, but just in case I'm going to re-iterate those here.

I am a huge fan of GoT modern AUs. Whether you're picking up the characters and making them work in our world or adapting Westeros to a modern era, I will read that shit and love it. My current favorite is a SanSan romance set in the 1950s that is absolutely wonderful. So, if you want to toss these characters in a world more like our own, I will be all about that. That being said, I do enjoy a good canon-verse fic. I don't actively seek them out very much, but I will read them and be happy about it if that's what floats your boat to write. :)

Khal Drogo/Daenerys Targaryen/Yara Greyjoy
This little combo has been stuck in my head since we got that excellent little flirty exchange between Yara and Dany in the throne room of Meereen. I can't imagine Yara putting up with Drogo's hyper-masculine possessive bullshit, but I can totally see the two of them being best bros who are happy to put Dany in the middle and have a good time. 'What Dany wants, Dany gets' is also a good track for this to take. She wants them both and neither of them want to leave so they suck it up and make it work.

Podrick Payne/Arya Stark/Gendry Waters
Oh, look. It's the trio of 'adorably clueless about relationships.' XD I love how naive these three can be in terms of feelings, and capitalizing on that is always the way to go. Smut or fluff is good here. I threw a lot of tags on this one in the sign-up for different routes you could take. "Got Drunk and Woke Up in a Polygamous Marriage," "It Starts As An Experiment But Then Everyone Develops Real Feelings for Each Other," and "Tripped and Fell on Two Different People's Dicks at Once" are my favorites for these guys.

Pacific Rim (movies)

Everyone gets a ride. That's pretty much my feelings on MCU fanfic in a nutshell, lol. I love Darcy and I love seeing her paired up with just about anyone. She's got a super quirky sense of humor and a quick wit that I love to read in a fic. Plus, you know, she's played by Kat Dennings and the woman is gorgeous. I love a Darcy with confidence who keeps the common sense upper hand. I'm definitely a sucker for the "Darcy is the babysitter" trope that's built up in the fandom. Put her in a position to have to take care of some scientists and/or heroes (or villains, I'm not picky), add a healthy dose of sass, and I am pretty much guaranteed to be invested. Most importantly: I like a sexually liberated Darcy. All those fics that have her giving the attitude of "yes, I like sex but I'm having fun and you can't stop me"? Those are my jam. All those Darcy threesomes I've got listed in my relationship tags? Feel free to upgrade them to moresomes. As long as you're not breaking the incest rules, I AM SO HERE FOR IT.

I'm well aware, though, that not everyone likes Darcy. I am not the person that nominated Stephen Strange / Loki / Cloak of Levitation, but I am pretty sure whoever did is my kind of crack fic person. Give me any version of that and I will be absolutely beyond thrilled. It's quirky and weird, and right up my alley.

When it comes to events like this I like throwing really basic ideas at people and seeing what kind of cool things I get showered with is kinda my jam. Got a secondary ship that you like to put in the background of things? As long is it's not on my NOTP list throw it at me. I love finding new ships, and I'm pretty open-minded about them. Really want to see that one villain redeemed? If they're not on my do not want list redeem them away. Obviously I want to see my character and relationship choices featured, but the story and subplots you build around them? Go nuts.

Game of Thrones

A note on incest in Game of Thrones: The thing that bothers me about incest isn't the genetics issue of things that happen due to inbreeding. The issue for me is how you're raised. For instance, if you're raised with someone as brother and sister (Jon and Sansa), then it absolutely freaks me the hell out to think that you could somehow decide all that time meant nothing and flip to making with the sex. However, if you were to have no idea that there was any relation when your affair started (Jon and Dany) and those familial feelings did not exist, it doesn't bother me at all.

The Big Bang Theory
I am so many seasons behind on this show, but I keep up with most of it through wikis, so don't worry about spoilers. My absolute favorite Sheldon/Penny fic to this day is by SpaceAnJL and is called The Paladin Protocol. I love that fic so much that I downloaded it in ebook format and keep it on my Kindle so I can re-read it whenever I want. (which is super often) I like Sheldon and Penny when they both come to terms with who they are and stop feeling ashamed of themselves for one reason or another. I'm huge on the friends-to-lovers trope and also the "comfort thing that leads to a relationship" kind of situation. Mostly, though, there has to be humor. You can't not have humor with these two.

Now, of course, I do know that not everyone in the fandom likes Darcy. I don't understand it, but I acknowledge that it is a thing. So, my additional vague character request is Skurge. If you've seen Thor: Ragnarok, you've gotten to witness the comedic gold that is Karl Urban as Hela's Executioner. What was he like before Hela? Why did Loki pick him to guard the Bifrost? What was his youth like? Did he actually die in Ragnarok or did he fall from the edge of Asgard and end up somewhere where he was healed of his wounds? I don't really care what angle you take for it. If you can give me more Skurge I am golden.

Harry Potter
Oh, Harry Potter. Not my first fandom. Not even the one I've been in the longest. But definitely the one I've been the most prolific with both reading and writing. If it's been done in the Potterverse, I've read. Yes, even that Hagrid/Giant Squid fic. I am so very much a crotchety old lady of the HP fandom. Fandom conversations frequently have "back in my day" and "I remember when" sentences coming from me. That being said, I love almost all of it. I listed a pairing and a general character sexuality thing in my do not wants list on the site, and that is literally all I'm concerned about. What I'm hoping for is something with Viktor Krum. He's one of my favorite side characters, and I adore the actor that played him in the movies (even if he is entirely wrong for the part in appearance). Give me something starring Viktor in a canon(ish) verse and you will absolutely make my day. I like him in every pairing I've ever seen, though I am very partial to putting him with Hermione, Luna, or Ginny.

If all else fails, I am totally the kind of trash that was all here for When I Kissed the Teacher=. Hermione/Snape is a go-to pairing, much to my best friend's abject horror. They don't even have to be a happy pairing. I'm good with the darker run on things, too. I'm even okay with (actually, I just flat out love) putting Hermione in just about any other pairing (no Harry) and having her have to deal with Snape in one way or another. As a fellow teacher, master/apprentice, duel, on opposite sides of a battlefield, etc. They have great chemistry for snark.
