Game of Thrones
Modern AUs make up 95% of my GoT fic consumption. I just love the idea of these characters in a more modern setting. The rest of my reading is fix-it fic for season eight because the only thing I was happy with after The Long Night was Bronn finally getting his fucking castle. I have some knowledge of the books and semi-extensive knowledge of anything in the books I can find on a wiki, so throwing in book references isn't a deterrent to me. I love a strong Sansa rather than a wilting flower and a Margaery that works every angle just like she always did in the show.

Marvel Cinematic Universe
The MCU is one of those fandoms that I just can't walk away from for more than a short while. I'm big on Darcy Lewis, and very not into the results of Infinity War and Endgame. I love that 2012-era everybody-lives-at-the-tower kind of fic. Fluff is good with me here, and I'm not terribly particular. I'm hesitant to specify pairings because I like so many, so I'm just going to list the ones I read most frequently.

Fandom soured me on Loki as a character involved in a main pairing, but I like him well enough as a secondary character. I like Brock Rumlow and Jack Rollins, but I prefer them as redeemed characters in some way.

Harry Potter
While it's not the fandom I've been in the longest, HP is the fandom that really got me the most involved in online fandom communities. I've been in it so long and read/seen so much that it's really hard to put something in front of me that surprises me. That being said, this is probably one of the easiest fandoms to make me happy with, and I'm an easy sell across the board so that's impressive. Want to stick to canon? Sweet, I'm down. Prefer an Epilogue What Epilogue approach? Hell yeah, I love it. Want to throw canon out the window entirely and rewrite a portion of the series to suit your whims? 100% here for it. This is also one of the only fandoms where I will happily read Christmas/Yule/any winter holiday fic year-round. I'm even good with Snape, Lucius, Draco, and pretty much any villainous character in a positive light so long as they get proper redemptions that they have to actually work for.

All that being said, I do not in any way, shape, or form support the horrendous things the original author of HP has been saying these last few years. Any homophobia/transphobia/support of her bullshit in a fanwork will get an automatic rejection from me, and I will probably go out of my way not to interact with your work ever again.

American Gods (TV)

I'm here for the smut/kink and/or the horror/creep, lol. Even when sex isn't the major theme of what's going on the entire show is pulsing with that kind of energy, so smut of any variety just feels especially fitting. In exchanges and fests I tend to note that I like fluff and happy endings, but with American Gods every last bit of that goes out the window. It's more understated than my love of fluff and humor (at least online), but I'm a fan of porn and horror, and this fandom slides right into that mentality in ways that many others don't. I am not the least bit twitchy about dub-con or non-con here either. So long as everyone's a legal adult and it isn't A/B/O I'm pretty much golden.

 

Sweeney/Laura is my OTP of the fandom. I love their energy, their reluctance to admit how they feel about one another, and the potential for just super dirty sexings. I'd love to see them get a less depressing ending than the painful nightmare I'm sure the show's going to give us, so a not-miserable-for-the-moment ending is preferred. I'm not squicky about violence or this particular version of necrophilia (does it count since she's the undead and not a prone corpse?) if you're working with a still decaying Laura. So long as we don't have my DNWs, get graphic. I'll probably love it. I don't hate the Laura is Essie trope, but I like seeing things that don't take that route any farther than the physical resemblance. The only thing I really don't want with these two is flat out angst. They're both usually in shitty moods, but the thing they're not usually up to is crying about it. Whinging, sure, and bitching aplenty, but sobbing in a corner ain't either of their styles.

I am down for including any kind of Sweeney antics. I'd love to know exactly what happened with the mermaids he and Wednesday were talking about or get more detail on any of his wild stories. You could give me a glimpse at a brawl he started out of boredom in just about any time and place and I'd be super enthused. He's my absolute favorite, so more Sweeney is always right up my alley.

 

Every time I watch scenes of Laura from before her death I'm overwhelmed by how she was clearly (to me, anyway) dealing with some serious depression issues. I'd love to see her during some of her happy moments or even just introspective bits on what was going through her mind. Laura's not necessarily a good person, but I love that she's so unapologetic about it.

 

As an additional note, I do love worldbuilding in this universe and explanations of how each god and/or mystical figure is affected by belief and worship.

Final Fantasy VII and FF7 Remake & Rebirth
I'm familiar with both original game and remake canons for FFVII. I know Advent Children well and have a passing familiarity with the canon of all the other games over the years. Anything I don't understand I generally have no problem looking up on a wiki. FFVII was the thing that helped me discover fandom way back in the nineties. Tifa is one of my favorite characters in any media ever, so it's hard to go wrong there. I especially like her shipped with any of the SHINRA guys (as you can probably tell). I'm also a big fan of Yuffie/Reno since way back in the days of Frank Verderosa's fanfic series.

 

Tifa and Rude are the first big OTP I ever had. I can blame all of it on a fic called Human Touch by Lirillith (on their ff.net, but not on AO3). I like the idea that they both could have been trained by Zangan, and Rude's crush on her is super sweet. Angsty is good, especially if it's Tifa trying to deal with splitting from Cloud, but definitely looking for either a hopeful or happy ending.

• total AUs - please don't pick up the characters and put them in a different world. I like theirs just fine. AUs in the game world that explore "what if" scenarios are just fine.
• Tifa hating Cloud - I hate her being made into a vengeful ex. They were childhood best friends. That can weather a lot.

Moodboards & Artwork
I would love moodboards, art, banners, chapter headers, etc. for literally any of my works on AO3. I always like reading a fic and seeing beautiful artwork included, even if it's just a banner at the top with the title over a picture.

Alternatively, in 2020 I discovered that I really like using moodboards as prompts to create stories. I've turned out some works that I'm really proud of thanks to a moodboard an artist created and let me write for. I have found that I prefer the actual actors used in media to face claims in most instances. I'm a bit pickier about what fandoms and pairings I'd like to get inspiration for, and those are listed below.
